Old Police Station gets new lease of life

Restored police station

Local people were concerned for the future of the old police station when they learnt that the police would be moving out of their premises on Stafford Road in Wallington, so Colin & I got the building locally listed to give it some additional protection from development.

We were therefore very pleased to learn that a central London business AquaGlobal, were keen to relocate in the station and sensitively adapt the building for their needs.

AquaGlobal is an IT company specialising in financial solutions. They are also a very sustainably-minded company. They relocated to Wallington as they wanted to reduce commuting times for their staff, and enable the partners to cycle to the office. They have a charging point for electric vehicles on site too.

The business owners invited Colin & myself to look around the refurbished building and we were very impressed by what they had done, improving the exterior whilst making the interior both efficient and employee-friendly.

We wish the business every success in Wallington.
