Make new friends in Wallington South

stock-footage-teapot-pouring-tea-into-cup-in-slow-motionScill (Sutton Centre for Independent Living and Learning) have set up a new social group for anyone over 18 living in the Wallington South area to meet up with others and make new friends.

The group meets every Thursday from 1.30 – 3.30pm at St Patrick’s Church Hall, 47 Park Hill Road, Wallington SM6 0RU.

Anyone is welcome to attend for coffee, tea and chat, and further activities are available as determined by the group, such as board games, speakers, quizzes or seated exercises.

Scill have set up this and other groups across the borough to encourage community building and to reduce isolation encouraging a ‘know your neighbour’ attitude and follows on from the successful Sutton South Hello project.
